As a cross-functional team lead, this individual will assist with advanced configuration and implementation support for new projects (including Philanthropy Cloud Customers (i.e. Corporate Partners)), modeling Orange County United Way’s continued value proposition.  This individual would oversee the delivery of a world-class solution with a seamless deployment experience, through the orchestration of multiple stakeholders, internal departments and external entities - such as United Way Worldwide and outside agencies.  All in coordination to perform rapid response, swarming a project in need of implementation planning and execution while building capacity and support. 

Areas of Responsibility: 

The immediate need is for the Project Manager to ensure the configuration of Salesforce Philanthropy Cloud.  Provide guidance and direct support to internal departments, United Way Worldwide and Corporate Partners on the implementation of projects.  Areas of accountability will include adaptation and implementation of programs for Corporate Partners, continuous oversight with support, and coordination of resources.​​

Will play a key role in driving Corporate Partner’s strategy throughout the implementation process.  Responsible for successful engagement and deployment of service resulting in a comprehensive transformation plan for the Corporate Partner. This includes gathering, defining, and clarifying the insights that drive our creative solutions and help us make a difference in our Corporate Partner’s business.​

Create implementation plans, providing guidance and advice to onboarding Corporate Partners about how best to utilize Philanthropy Cloud, coordinate engagement, act as communications lead and provide project management expertise for delivery of the execution plan.​

OPERATIONAL AND ADMINISTRATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES:

Guidance on connecting CSR strategies with tactics & content

  • Support the sales process by aligning CSR strategy to campaigns, stories, and funds.
  • Visioning & consultation with workplace for CSR goals and strategies 
  • Reaffirming what we think we know about company’s strategy into compelling and relevant campaigns 

Guide the design and delivery of content and experience recommendations

  • Manage the execution of high level content concepts and strategy 
  • Recommend services in coordination with internal teams
  • Reinforce communication concepts including key messages
  • Outline publishing cadence suggestions
  • Design and offer employee activation recommendations
  • Provide implementation timelines and set expectations and key deliverables for all parties

Provide Configuration and Execution Support

  • Assist internal departments in the delivery and timeliness of, writing and building of content - stories, campaigns, impact funds, experiences (as defined)
  • Provide advanced Salesforce Philanthropy Cloud operational support to peers or Corporate Partner, specific to the Corporate Partner’s initiation project.
  • Assist in configuring Corporate Partner’s Philanthropy Cloud homepage (look and feel) to match envisioned requirements
  • Support Orange County United Way and Corporate Partner in reporting and data analysis

Deliver Technical Expertise

  • Provide advanced technical support by answering questions, delivering solutions, and ensuring user acceptance

Empower Stakeholders and Contributors to Execute

  • Ensure successful engagement and handoff to department leads, building capacity for internal campaign response teams and execution.  This includes helping the internal departments build internal capacity to support the customer
Educational Background: 
Bachelor's Degree
Skills/Experience: 
  • 5-7 years of experience including Project Management experience, managing teams, deliverables, client relationships etc.,
  • Experience in Agile Project Management
  • Comfortable working with Leadership Teams in producing reviews, analysis and reports on the following deliverables: Project Plan, Estimates, Efforts, Usage reports, and SLA compliances
  • Need to review and/or identify the team who can review and generate solutions, methodology, processes etc.
  • Organize meetings with stakeholders from Internal Team Members, Corporate Partner, or United Way Worldwide as required and drive the agreed-to actions to completion.
  • Provide guidance and support to Orange County United Way’s staff on the project as and when needed
  • Send periodic Status Reports to Corporate Partner and to Orange County United Way’s Leadership as required/defined by Corporate Partner and Orange County United Way
  • Identify the avenues for value addition and business development for Orange County United Way

Employment Standards:

  • Experience in project management, specific to managing teams, deliverables, and client relationships
  • Expert knowledge in Project planning and preparing Delivery reports
  • Experience in Agile project Management
  • Preferred experience in Technology Software-as-a-Service solutions
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience in maintaining risks and planning mitigation or alternates
  • Experience in maintaining issues and preparing best practices
  • Experience in handling clients and vendors
