Indiana United Ways seeks a technology innovator with an entrepreneurial spirit, passion for sales and a proven track record of success. This position will evaluate and implement LEAN business process improvements aligned with customer-focused strategic goals.
Indiana United Ways (IUW) is the state association for more than 50 United Ways in Indiana. We support Indiana’s United Ways in their fight for the health, education, and financial stability of every person in every community. This key position works with Local United Ways through UniFi Solutions, a service created by IUW providing back-room office support through campaign processing, data hosting, accounting and digital services. As UniFi Solutions expands, the Business Transformation Officer will serve as a business relationship manager, sales/marketing lead and innovation champion.
The Business Transformation Officer is responsible for identifying and developing strategic business relationships with current and potential customers as well as lead Indiana United Ways digital service technical programs in collaboration with the Digital Services lead. As the Business Transformation Officer, you will take the lead in the development of new business opportunities that support IUW’s overall growth strategy.
EXPERIENCE:
- Working with CRM software, preferably Salesforce
- Contract negotiation
- Demonstrated strong customer service skills and successful sales outcomes
- Complex project management
- Strategic planning with emphasis on business operations
- Fostering a collaborative, team-focused work environment that strives for excellence while embracing growth opportunities
- 8-10 years of management experience in the non-profit and/or for-profit sectors.
- Demonstrated understanding of technology and information systems.
- Passion for the mission and values of United Way. Previous United Way experience preferred.
- Thrives in a dynamic environment and able to work on various projects simultaneously, requiring strong organizational and time management skills.
- Requires outstanding interpersonal, coaching and listening skills with the ability to communicate positively with staff, Association members, and volunteers.
- Must be able to remain objective, exercise discretion and operate with integrity.
- Some state and national travel required.
