Provides an efficient, professional and caring environment for the health center. This position is hourly, non-exempt, Full time, and benefits eligible. This position pays $12.20/hr for non bilinugual applicants and $12.95/hr for bilingual (English/Spanish) applicants.

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • Customer service duties, including answering phones, making appointments, filing and record keeping.
  • Perform client interviews and education as indicated.
  • Provide clients with basic lab testing.
  • Monitor, order, maintain and dispense supplies and medications as appropriate. 
  • Perform routine bookkeeping tasks. Have a complete understanding of grants and funding sources.
  • Have a thorough understanding of the Electronic Practice Management system.
  • Assist in routine health center maintenance.
  • Promote and maintain positive communication with clients, peers, managers, clinicians, and administration.
  • Perform any additional duties to ensure client satisfaction and promote health center success.
  • Able to enter lab work results in to the computer.
  • Participates in abortion services (participation can include referrals, information, education, counseling, performing, scheduling, etc.)
Educational Background: 
High school degree or equivalent.
Skills/Experience: 
  • Strong customer service, communication and organizational skills.
Additional Information: 

Background check and language testing are required
