The American Heart Association has an excellent opportunity for a Youth Market Consultant in our Glen Allen, VA office!

Major Duties:

  • Coordinate day-to-day department activity including data entry, fulfillment orders, reports, material mailings, thank you gift ordering and general mailings. Provide overall database coordination for pre and post event materials orders.
  • Provide technical assistance to internal and external customers, including Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Luminate and other online systems.
  • With guidance from the Customer Service (CS) Manager, coordinate day to day relationships with materials supplier, lock box, and thank you gift vendor. Troubleshoot potential problems and exercise good judgment in resolving them.
  • Manage customer information within Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Luminate and other applicable databases in accordance with established Youth Market guidelines and best practices.
  • Coordinate recruitment and materials mailings, thank you gift ordering / recording / shipping / handling, and inventory management, troubleshooting, follow-up, and status updates.
  • Provide effective support services. Maintain files, records and reports. Maintain adequate office supplies. Provide outstanding customer service to the Youth Market Directors and volunteers in the field to achieve maximum revenue results. Fill material orders for field staff and volunteer requests promptly.
  • Serve as communication liaison between Youth Market field staff and CS Manager to help troubleshoot Youth Market procedures and protocols. Provide feedback in order to innovate and improve current business procedures.
  • Enter Youth Market Matching gifts into Microsoft Dynamics CRM and coordinate reimbursement (when applicable).
  • Assist CS Manager with planning and implementation of trainings and meetings, as assigned.
  • Assist CS Manager with affiliate reports, as assigned.
  • Provide back-up assistance to the reception function, as assigned.
  • In addition to the above, perform other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • One-two years of administrative or related experience.
  • Skill in PC and computer equipment including word processing, accounting, data base management, spreadsheets, software applications and all MS products.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience with web applications, Microsoft Dynamics CRM & Luminate.
  • Prior non-profit experience.
