Summary/Objective Reporting to the Senior Director of Resource Development, this position is responsible for all United Way workplace giving campaigns. In addition, under the direction of the Senior Director this position assists with all aspects of United Way's comprehensive fundraising program. This position will identify, cultivate, retain, and develop donor prospects in the workplace. This individual will establish and strengthen relationship with donors, employers, and the community as a whole to build donor loyalty, raise/leverage resources, and ensure a positive brand experience with United Way Fresno and Madera Counties. This position will seek out new workplace relationships within the service area to grow resources for United Way Fresno and Madera Counties. This position works in close coordination with the Program and Marketing departments.

1. Workplace Giving
- Act as primary staff for assigned accounts, maintaining accurate records, meeting or exceeding fundraising goals.
- Facilitate workplace campaigns and related events from start to finish including training and managing volunteers to support annual workplace giving and coordinating materials needed for workplace giving.
- Identify accounts requiring a CEO visit and ensure all account information is current and accurate.
- Attend account’s special events activities designed to increase donations.
- Plan events for workplace giving, affinity groups, and any other United Way event as needed.
2. Data Management/ANDAR
- Oversee maintenance of campaign and donor databases and produce regular reports, including providing campaign results goals and strategic plans to accounts.
3. Fundraising
- Contribute to the development, implementation and growth of leadership giving programs.
- Research and maintain awareness of current and emerging fundraising innovations and prospects in area of group, corporate and individual donors.
- Research, write and support grant applications as appropriate.
- Participate in the development and execution of cause marketing events and online giving.
- Solicit sponsorships for United Way Fresno and Madera Counties’ special events.
4. Cultivation
- Attend key community events and activities helping to expand community understanding of United Way’s community goals. Establish contact with organizations, businesses and individuals increasing our circle of influence and contributing to the acquisition and retention of individual donors.
- Develop short and long term goals (year-round engagement plans)
- Develop and maintain quality relationships to establish a committed volunteer base.

- Strong communication skills including the ability to present information and respond to questions from top management, clients, customers, public groups and/or board of directions.
- Ability to respond effectively to sensitive inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies or members of business community.

- Ability to define problems, collect data, and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to manage multiple time-sensitive projects simultaneously on a continuous basis.
