This position is responsible for managing the cultivation/retention of existing 1x donors, monthly donors, sponsors and mid-level donors. Primary focus is undesignated fundraising, working towards an annual total revenue of $1 million across the Agency through Telemarketing fundraising efforts. S/he will also work with key stakeholders across multiple internal departments to develop and execute mobile marketing and fundraising strategies.

The overall goal is to manage and report on multiple campaigns to ensure all efforts run successfully.

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • Manage the set-up and execution of Outbound Telemarketing campaigns (30%)
    • Responsible for the day-to-day development and implementation of the outbound telemarketing campaigns to upgrade donors to sustainers, raising undesignated revenue by converting 1X donors to multi-donors and generate new donors through acquisition campaigns. 
    • Management of the telemarketing vendor(s) on the execution of all aspects of the telemarketing programs. 
    • Ownership of Review Board process by acting as lead contact and knowledge base for approval process. 
    • Lead campaign meetings including campaign kick-off, creative strategy and campaign status. 
    • Responsible for ensuring communication/reporting requirements are met in a timely and accurate manner. 
    • Work with telemarketing vendor to establish rigorous test/control protocols and metrics for each campaign. 
  • Manage the set-up and execution of Mobile marketing & fundraising strategy (30%)
    • Responsible for convening working groups and steering groups; managing project timelines, schedule and resources; and developing and monitoring KPIs. 
    • Identify new revenue sources through innovative online and mobile partnerships and manage existing relationships. 
    • Be the end-to-end owner of the mobile product and experience, and work with stakeholders to establish requirements to meet their goals. Work with development and integration teams to ensure mobile data capture and integrity, and provide best practices to digital advertising and production teams. 
    • Manage relationships with external partners for provision of mobile services for inbound/outbound text marketing, text to give fundraising platform, mobile advocacy and mobile marketing. Work with internal stakeholders on SMS program execution. 
  • Responsible for the regular analysis and evaluation of Outbound Telemarketing program and Mobile Strategy performance (20%)
    • Work with the Director on evaluating results, analyzing strategy effectiveness, and modifying campaign strategies based on results. 
    • Manage regular weekly, monthly, and yearly reporting on established campaign KPI’s. 
    • Stay abreast of best practice within and outside organization to provide strategy modification recommendations. 
  • Support the Director, Supporter Conversion to develop outbound telemarketing and mobile strategies to help continue the growth and success of the retention of existing sponsors & donors and also support the agency’s multi-channel integrated campaigns (10%)
    • Participation and recommendation in planning and strategic process. 
    • Work with internal departments and manage external vendors to streamline process and maximize operational effectiveness to support increased donor retention, reactivation and upgrade/downgrade streams. 
  • Manage for invoice coding for outbound telemarketing and Mobile campaigns & projects (5%)
    • Receive, code and facilitate processing for all invoices related to outbound telemarketing campaigns. 
    • Report monthly and yearly budget updates to key stakeholders. 
  • Complete ad-hoc projects and assignments and perform other duties as may be assigned by the Director, Supporter Conversion (5%)
Educational Background: 
High School or Technical/Vocational Degree 
Skills/Experience: 
  • Minimum 3-5 years' experience in area of expertise  
  • Professional level of specialized knowledge to manage complex tasks, programs or projects.
  • Experience in digital or product management with focus on launching consumer mobile experiences. 
  • Technology savvy with solid understanding of the web, online marketing, direct marketing and best e-mail practices. 
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. 
  • Ability to work in a cross-cultural environment. 
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Work, Excel). 
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills. 
  • Ability to work under pressure on a number of competing tasks. 

Preferred Qualifications  

  • Previous telemarketing experience 
  • Previous non-profit experience
