The Coordinator, Sponsorship Retention Marketing will provide creative and production support for print, digital and mobile communications to ensure a strong sponsorship experience for approximately 75,000 child sponsors. This role will also help catalog and disseminate high quality story, photo and video content from 20 different sponsorship countries within the agency.
Areas of Responsibility:
Marketing Campaign Support (45%)
- Support fundraising teams in US and international member offices in identifying creative assets for multi-channel communications and tracking asset usage
- Fact check, copy edit, proof and provide production assistance for various marketing campaigns
- Curate country-specific content for online sponsorship pages
- Submit data and file requests for marketing efforts
- Oversee content strategy (managing calendar & copy-editing posts) for sponsorship blog, in partnership with Creative Assets Manager, Associate Director and social team
- Conduct sponsor surveys for country office reviews and other ad-hoc campaigns and share aggregated results with key stakeholders
Creative Assets Management (45%):
- Partner with Creative Assets Manager to review and approve country office video content
- Maintain catalog of all sponsorship assets (e.g. stories, photos and videos)
- Add and/or quality check metadata and upload sponsorship assets to content management system for agency usage
- Share sponsorship assets and sponsor communications on Facebook Workplace
- Support Creative Assets Manager and Multimedia Storyteller in providing marketing support to country offices
Other Activities (10%):
- Accurately code, submit and log all retention invoices
- Support Sponsorship Retention Marketing and Global Sponsorship team in other projects, as needed
- Perform other duties as may be assigned
Educational Background:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing/communications or degree in related field
Skills/Experience:
- You have a minimum 2-3 years' experience in marketing/communications role
- High School or Technical/Vocational Degree
- Energetic, organized, creative professional with an interest in international development
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools
- Excellent grammar, spelling, writing and proofreading ability with strong attention to detail
- Organized with strong multitasking and time-management skills
- Able to work both independently and as part of cross-functional team
- Able to manage competing priorities in a cross-cultural, fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of SurveyMonkey and/or Egynte preferred
- Graphics design and/or digital experience a plus
