The Coordinator, Gift Processing assists with the daily check and credit card deposit operations of the agency via lockboxes, in house and credit card payment processors.  As part of a team the coordinator deposits checks to the bank and ensures that the daily deposit matches BBEC data.  The Coordinator assists in the process of cash deposits and foreign check deposits.  The Coordinator reconciles daily credit card payments processed via Payflow Pro which consists of legacy recurring gifts.  The Coordinator will assist the Senior Coordinator with the processing of credit card chargebacks and refunds. In addition this role will support the Gift Processing Specialist in the processing of daily wire payments relating to Corporate Gifts and Third parties.

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • As part of a team ensure that checks received in house are sorted appropriately, deposited to the bank, and reconciled daily.  Responsible for preparing cash and foreign check deposits to the bank. (20%)
  • Process gifts into BBEC for checks and bank wires uploads less than $1k and sponsorship (25%)
  • Review pieces processed via lockbox and reconcile deposit amounts to the bank (15%)
  • Reconcile daily credit cards payments from Payflow Pro to BBEC CRM, and process chargebacks and refunds posted by credit card service providers (15%)
  • Assist the Gift Processing Specialist in the processing of Wire payments concerning Corporate and Third Party Gifts. (15%)
  • Assist as needed the scanning of back up gift documentation to electronic storage system. (5%)
  • Support Team in projects as well as perform other duties as may be required (5%)
Educational Background: 
High School or Technical/Vocational Degree
Skills/Experience: 
  • Minimum 2-3 years' experience in area of expertise
  • Learned knowledge and technical skills to support semi-complex tasks
  • Detail oriented
  • Professional level of specialized knowledge, technical/functional skills and attention to detail to manage complex tasks, programs or projects
