Coordinator, Digital Acquisition and Lead Generation

This position supports the Acquisition and Lead Generation team in its work to identify and acquire new donors and supporters for the agency, enabling us to create lasting change for children around the world. Lead Generation is a part of a strategic shift in focus for Save the Children empowering us to seek long term supporters by bringing in qualified leads to the organization who have the potential to become loyal financial supporters.

Reporting into the Associate Director, Digital Acquisition and Lead Generation this role will help coordinate and support all aspects of our Digital Acquisition and Lead Generation programs to help realize our goal of reaching 1 Million supporters by 2020. This will include general administration, account management support, project support and budget tracking.

The overall goal is to assist in the execution of our digital marketing and lead generation programs to ensure all efforts run successfully.

Areas of Responsibility: 

Digital Marketing and Lead Generation Program Support (35%)

  • Provide logistical support, as necessary for all digital marketing campaigns and lead generation programs across marketing channels including digital, email, mobile and telemarketing
  • Obtain project/campaign material legal approvals by acting as lead contact and knowledge base for legal approval process
  • Work as liaison with vendors and internal stakeholders to provide creative elements as needed and ensure proper implementation
  • Coordinate with ITBS, Web Production team and others on project plans and timelines to help keep tasks on track

Support Successful and Accurate Data Implementation and Campaign Execution (30%)

  • Support Associate Director, Digital Acquisition and Lead Generation to ensure all data and campaigns are executed successfully and accurately with high operational performance and efficient agency interdepartmental collaboration
  • Assist in the operational execution of all campaigns and programs
  • Work with internal departments and external vendors to confirm the proper use of data/segmentation and maximize operational effectiveness to support increased digital fundraising and Lead Generation
  • Utilize best digital marketing and lead generation practices from within and outside Save The Children

Reporting and Benchmarking (15%)

  • Work in concert with Associate Director to support the development of reporting to benchmark and measure the effectiveness of the teams Digital Acquisitions and Lead Generation tactics
  • Publish monthly reporting dashboard to be shared with internal stakeholders
  • With guidance from Associate Director dedicate time to learning best practices and industry benchmarks for advancement of professional development

Responsible for the coordination of the creative process (10%)

  • Participate in all strategy meetings and campaign kick-offs
  • Track all creative pieces for updates and changes and facilitate the flow between Save the Children and external vendor/internal departments
  • Ensure that creative pieces are accurate and that all creative guidelines are being followed for successful execution

Responsible for invoice coding for campaigns & projects (5%)

  • Receive, code and facilitate processing for all invoices related to digital acquisition and lead generation
  • Report, as needed, budget updates to key stakeholders

Complete ad-hoc projects and assignments as assigned by the Director, Digital Acquisition and Lead Generation (5%)

Educational Background: 
High School or Technical/Vocational Degree
Skills/Experience: 
  • Minimum 2-3 years' experience in related area, with an interest in marketing, fundraising or other related field
  • Experience or exposure to fundraising or marketing projects involving graphic design, messaging, research, key performance metrics, mass market or donor communications and customer or donor experience preferred
  • Strong communication and writing skills, including ability to make things look good on paper and online
  • Strong Analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years’ experience in marketing or fundraising
  • Fluent in Microsoft Office package with strong excel skills
  • College/advanced degree in marketing, communications or related field strongly preferred
  • Excellent project organization skills
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced evolving environment where content of work, key stakeholders, policies, processes and procedures can change frequently.
  • Proactive, enthusiastic attitude and strong organizational and interpersonal skills
