Senior Director, Integrated Digital Marketing Recurring Fundraising

The Manager of Integrated Marketing & Fundraising (IMF) will play a critical role in supporting the IMF Vice President and Senior Management Team (SMT).  Helping to drive departmental improvements and general administrative responsibilities, the IMF Manager will help the VP to coordinate activities and deliverables for a team of over 70 Marketing, Digital, Content, Design and Fundraising professionals.

Areas of Responsibility: 

VP Administration- 35%

  • Active management of up to 70+ meetings a week for the VP, coordinating materials needed, technical resources and taking notes/following up on action items from select meetings; Pro-active management of conflicts and scheduling time for deliverables; Support IMF SMT leaders meeting needs as required
  • Oversight of VP email to ensure prompt, pro-active responses as well as independent management/handling of appropriate projects
  • Manage VP invoice approvals, time sheets, expense reports, office supplies, technical equipment and general ownership of office surroundings
  • Develop PowerPoint presentations and reports/analysis in Excel as needed

ADI Subject Matter Expert- 30%

  • Serve as department ADI (Accelerating Delivery and Improvement) expert, getting trained and certified in all agency tools available. Serve as a key enabler to delivering our strategic objectives utilizing expertise in project management, continuous improvement and change management to help facilitate complex projects and initiatives. Focus on six fundamental ways of working, including change approaches, meeting effectiveness, voice of the stakeholder, visual management, problem-solving and planning in order to help team to embrace change, continually improve work and deliver projects. Maintain a list of IMF Continuous Improvement (CI) projects and schedule coordination of same

IMF Department Administration 15%

  • Research and implement complete travel itineraries for VP and other IMF SMT leaders ensuring all details are well documented and confirmed (
  • Lead for all new employee, intern and volunteer on-boarding and coordination. Maintenance of org charts and IMF floor plans.
  • Organize Board presentations, notes and follow up assignments
  • Coordinate/Track VP Annual Review/360 Feedback, Department Adjustments and Recognition Awards
  • Foster strong relationships with other departments, including Building Operations, Legal, Finance, Human Resources, IT and others to coordinate operational needs and administrative projects. 

Event/Meeting Management (15%)

  • Provide leadership, coordination, creative ideas, communication and follow up of quarterly offsite retreats, team-wide meetings and IMF ESMT.
  • Provide management support for Community Engagement Events such as Dodgeball Tournaments and the Annual Save the Children Golf Classic, including but not limited to volunteer recruitment, inventory management, budget support, event logistics and communications.

Other assignments as required (5%)

Educational Background: 
Bachelor Degree- Liberal Arts, Management, Marketing or Communications
Skills/Experience: 
  • 3-5 years of experience in administration, operations, or project management
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and ability to quickly learn new systems and programs
  • Must be highly organized
  • Must be ambitious, self-motivated, pro-active and outgoing
  • Work pro-actively using independent judgement and an ability to multi-task to accomplish objectives of the position in a fast-paced environment that requires confidentiality, strong follow through and interaction with internal and external stakeholders of all levels, including Board members.
