United Way of Chester County, a dynamic, community impact organization serving Chester County, Pennsylvania, seeks an experienced resource development officer to direct the overall strategy, planning and implementation of a comprehensive, donor-centric fund raising and resource development system for current and long-term financial support, consistent with the organization’s brand and mission.
Sources for support include, but are not limited to: 1) an annual campaign consisting of corporate, employee, foundation and direct marketing solicitations; 2) major gifts cultivation and solicitation, both for annual support and restricted/dedicated support; 3) planned or deferred giving programs: 4) special events; 5) special project or program initiative grants; 6) in-kind gifts (specifically to meet UWCC needs); and 7) endowment design and development.
- Minimum of 10 years business experience fundraising/business development at a management level with demonstrated success a must.
- Local knowledge of the county and already established business contacts a plus.
- No relocation expenses will be paid.
