United Way of Chester County seeks a full time, experienced community development professional.

Educational Background: 
A minimum of an undergraduate degree in health and human services or related field. At least 7 years of work experience in health and human services.
Skills/Experience: 
  • A comprehensive knowledge of the health and human services industry and experience in best practices in community problem solving.
  • High level understanding & experience of the non-profit sector.
  • Proficiency in program analysis and outcome based evaluation to make informed decisions around grant making.
  • Strong writing skills and knowledge of grant writing and grant management to attract support for community initiatives.
  • Have a demonstrated ability to effectively work with people and processes to meet organizational objectives.
  • Ability to work with small and large groups and with multiple stakeholders.
Compensation/Benefits: 

Salary: $41,000 to $50,000 per year
