We are looking for a mission-minded, experienced leader in non-profit financial management. The ideal candidate has high standards of quality and accuracy and enjoys working in a professional environment. The ability to coach and develop a team, bringing accountability to work is critical to success for this position.
Serving as a member of the senior management team, this individual will be directly responsible for managing processes and developing and implementing plans in financial stewardship, risk management, human resources, facility management and the information technology functions. This position supervises seven staff positions within these functional areas.

- 10+ years of financial management experience in complex organizations to include non-profit fund accounting.
- Extensive budgeting, financial forecasting, reporting and cash flow management experience.
- Knowledge and understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Knowledge and ability to interpret and apply human resources practices and employment laws.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) preferred.
- Experience in strategic planning and execution.
- Skilled at effectively presenting information and ideas to executive teams, volunteers, and board of directors.
- Demonstrated leadership of staff, volunteers and team-oriented work.
- Excellent written, verbal, analytical and conceptual skills required.
- Strong follow-through and problem-solving skills required.
- Prior United Way experience is desirable.
- Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and insurance policy.
