Dripping Springs Community Library seeks a Capital Campaign Manager, part-time position, responsible for implementing and completing a 5-million-dollar capital campaign. This fundraising effort will support the financing of a new library facility for Dripping Springs, Texas.

The Campaign Manager will work closely with the Library Director, Board of Trustees, Advisory Groups, and other staff to carry out a broad-based fundraising plan targeting individuals, corporations, foundations and government agencies to support this initiative.

This person must have proven success in fundraising and/or sales and relationship management. Exceptional organizational, written, and verbal communication skills are necessary for this position. Must have ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and achieve results in a team environment.

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • Responsible for project managing the execution of the campaign plan
  • Directs key staff and volunteers on campaign assignments, manages schedules, provides support, and accountability
  • Works with individuals who have relationships with key prospects; assists them in setting agendas and making appointments with assigned prospects
  • Prepares for and supports all the activities related to the committees, making sure meetings are well planned and include adventure and celebration
  • Operates data systems for managing prospect engagement strategy and planning
  • In partnership with researches, evaluates, and prioritizes prospects in order to assign priority levels and primary callers
  • In collaboration with campaign counsel, and President prepares written strategies on all stage 1 priority prospective donors
  • In collaboration with campaign counsel, and major gift officers prepares strategies and approaches for all stage 2 priority prospective donors
  • In partnership with campaign counsel and the Advancement Team implements group strategies for engaging stage 3 priority prospective donors
  • In partnership with campaign counsel and the Vice President develops and manages the engagement strategy of stage 4 priority prospective donors
  • In partnership with campaign counsel and the Vice President implements a foundation and corporate giving strategy
  • Prepares monthly production reports on activities, potential gifts, engaged but not committed donors, and total amount committed toward goal
  • Prepares reports projecting strategies for various gift levels and timeframes for engagement
  • Prepares monthly updates of the campaign plan
  • Accountability to pre-determined daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual goals

  • Drippings Springs Community Library offers a salary commensurate with this part time position for the right person

The Dripping Springs Community Library is a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Government Entity which provides free services to all residents living within, or any person employed within Hays County as well as the Dripping Springs Independent School District. Cards are available to non-residents or persons not employed within either the county or district for a small fee. All fees and fines go toward running and maintaining the library.

Some of these include: Mother Goose on the Loose; Story Time; Chess and Lego meetings; Master Gardeners and Master Naturalists programs; book clubs; Mah-jonng; Chair Exercise; Meditation; Robotics; Writers workshops; 3D Pen programs; Reading Buddies; Battle of the Books and much extensive programming in June and July
