Mission: 

Vision Statement: To promote life-long learning for all residents of the Dripping Springs area.

Mission Statement: To provide free access to print and electronic materials, music, information and reference services, educational and cultural programs and meeting spaces for residents of all ages and interests in the Dripping Springs area.

The Dripping Springs Community Library is a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Government Entity which provides free services to all residents living within, or any person employed within Hays County as well as the Dripping Springs Independent School District. Cards are available to non-residents or persons not employed within either the county or district for a small fee. All fees and fines go toward running and maintaining the library.

Programs: 

We offer life-long learning opportunities for all ages. Some of these include: Mother Goose on the Loose; Story Time; Chess and Lego meetings; Master Gardeners and Master Naturalists programs; book clubs; Mah-jonng; Chair Exercise; Meditation; Robotics; Writers workshops; 3D Pen programs; Reading Buddies; Battle of the Books and much extensive programming in June and July
