Digital Fundraising Manager, Peer-to-Peer

Responsible for analyzing digital fundraising trends, as well as identifying opportunities to engage donors in effective and innovative direct fundraising strategies. Responsible for creating and implementing (peer to peer) digital fundraising campaigns across all digital platforms. Also, responsible for developing and leveraging digital resources to expand AHA’s donor base.

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • Designs, creates and implements a peer-to-peer digital fundraising model to leverage key digital platforms for the enhancement and growth of donor revenue.
  • Researches marketing and digital engagement trends to align AHA’s mission with stakeholders who will participate in digital direct fundraising opportunities.
  • Develops digital interaction and on-line response campaigns and data collection to expand and improve donor traffic.
  • Facilitates development and implementation of fundraising communications and campaigns. Develops and executes project timelines and action plans. Negotiates and contracts with internal and external partners across AHA departments, contractors, vendors and consultants.
  • Designs measures and reports to demonstrate accomplishments, identify areas for improvement, and track overall increases in revenue and attainment of goals. Evaluates and provides updates and metrics reports to team members, senior leadership, and business leads
  • Collects, analyzes and presents campaign data to evaluate and improve processes and establish sustainable models for predictive success.
Educational Background: 
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or related work experience
Skills/Experience: 
  • Five (5) years of experience in e-commerce, online/digital fund raising, direct response marketing campaigns or related interactive customer relationship management
  • Three (3) years of experience in sales or fundraising including identifying and building successful partnerships and business relationships
  • Comprehensive understanding of digital communications, interactive media, and customer insight analysis and trending
  • Experience or comprehensive understanding of non-profit environments
  • Ability to meet and build beneficial relationships with all levels of AHA staff, vendors, and external stakeholders such as volunteers or representatives of partner organizations
  • Ability to build and adhere to both strategic and tactical plans
  • Ability to analyze and interpret relevant data and use interpretations in the development of campaign models
  • Must be able to travel up to 20%
