The United Way of Greater Cincinnati’s (UWGC) Eastern Area office is seeking an energetic team player to provide professional staff support for project management for specific local impact initiatives and community partner relations and general office procedures.
Areas of Responsibility:
- Provide capacity building support, coordinate volunteer projects, and secure impact stories about agency partners and impact initiative in Clermont and Brown Counties. Provide support to agency partner campaigns. Support the coordination and implementation of UWGC impact initiatives strategies in Clermont and Brown Counties. Lead and/or support various community collaborations and projects (internal & external; local & regional). Manage and coordinate a volunteer committee to support the above efforts.
- Provide customer service, communication, and operations support to Eastern Area office. Manage email and phone correspondence to the public, volunteers and others. Provide meeting support to the office and to internal/ external events (i.e., annual meetings, volunteer projects, Day of Action).
Educational Background:
Bachelor’s degree in social work, community planning or related field or equivalent experience.
Skills/Experience:
- Four years work experience in community organizations, community planning, public policy or related human service field is desirable.
- Advanced computer skills, including experience with Microsoft office products (specifically Office 365, Outlook, Word, Excel). Public speaking, interpersonal skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and organizational ability to manage work responsibilities is required.
- Personal transportation required. Ability to lift 20 pounds
