The Corporate Partnerships Specialist will serve in an internally facing role and support a team of corporate fundraisers (relationship managers) who are tasked with raising millions of dollars annually through corporate philanthropy and cause-related marketing. The Specialist will coordinate and ensure the integrity of multiple processes and procedures, lead departmental communication to member food banks, create tools and resources for fundraisers’ use, manage donor stewardship projects and more.

Areas of Responsibility: 

Donor Stewardship & Content Management Support (Interdependent Teams: Marketing/Communications, Donor Stewardship)

  • Regularly review and update the department’s digital content calendar with relationship managers and route information to the Marketing/Communication team.
  • Gather content from relationship managers for the website and e-newsletter; proof and edit this content as needed. Publish final content to Feeding America’s website or submit it for inclusion in the newsletter. Specialist will be responsible for updating the promotional partners, new partners and partner news areas of FeedingAmerica.org. 
  • Collect the department’s content for the Annual Report and manage the related review process in coordination with Feeding America’s marketing and communications team. 
  • Coordinate all aspects of Feeding America’s Quarterly Donor Webinar. This includes scheduling and communicating the call to internal stakeholders and donors, developing the webinar’s content in conjunction with department leadership and program staff, preparing the presentation, writing the associated speaking points, prepping presenters and running the call. 
  • Manage quarterly email program to lapsed corporate donors; write and edit all content, maintain listserv and send emails on a regular basis. 

Contract & Legal Support (Interdependent Teams: Legal, Finance, Philanthropy Operations)

  • Contract & Legal Support (Interdependent Teams: Legal, Finance, Philanthropy Operations). In conjunction with General Counsel, annually update and maintain legal resources such as contract templates, memos and training documents. Publish materials to Feeding America’s intranet. 
  • Support Feeding America’s annual financial audit and related recordkeeping. 
  • As requested, help relationship managers review contracts and marketing materials for compliance. Elevate issues to department leadership and Feeding America’s General Counsel.

Finance & Philanthropy Operations Support (Interdependent Departments: Finance, Philanthropy Operations)

  • Oversee the Member Grant No RFP (MGNR) process through which funds are distributed to network food banks from corporate partners’ cause marketing programs.
  • Complete and submit MGNR forms to Finance. Serve as liaison to Finance for issue resolution to ensure donor funds are distributed in timely and accurate manner. Provide MGNR training to the department.
  • Create quarterly funding update pages on Feeding America’s intranet and present information on the monthly network webinar.
  • Lead campaign reporting for the Great American Milk Drive, Give A Meal, online fundraising pages and other digital campaigns.
  • Partner with the Finance department to gather information from relationship managers on temporarily restricted donations and create a plan to distribute and/or deploy funds based on donor intent.
  • Manage the Quarterly Donor Data Share process.

Network Communication 

  • Maintain the team’s sections of Feeding America’s intranet to inform network food banks about national office fundraising activities and cause marketing campaigns.
  • Oversee all aspects of the monthly Corporate Partnerships/Cause Marketing Webinar that is conducted for network food banks. This includes developing PowerPoint decks, notifying network contacts of the call, leading the webinar/call, providing technical assistance to attendees and responding to follow up requests.
  • Support network communication efforts across the Corporate Partnerships team including serving as the central point of contact for food banks’ questions.
  • Update and maintain food bank contact list for the department.
  • Coordinate and lead special network webinars on behalf of relationship managers. 

Strategic Account Support
As requested, support existing business relationship managers on special projects. Duties may include: 

  • Providing back up support for large cause marketing campaigns, for example, managing dedicated campaign inboxes, or providing event coordination support.
  • Donor stewardship and/or recognition projects, such as drafting or editing grant reports.
  • Helping coordinate partner meetings. 

General Operations Support

  • Maintain invoice numbers for the department.
  • Update and maintain donor contacts in Feeding America’s database.
  • Gather and submit content for inclusion in Feeding America’s brand tracker.
  • Work with the Data Analytics team to fulfill requests for food bank matches.
  • Maintain the Corporate Partnerships team’s internal intranet site.
  • Order recognition and stewardship items for the department and track inventory.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Educational Background: 
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Skills/Experience: 
  • Three to five years’ work experience.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects at once.
  • Skilled provider of customer service and the ability to work across multiple internal departments and with staff at all levels.
  • Experience supporting a large, high-performing team preferred.
  • Process and detail orientation, financial acumen.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills.
  • Understanding of fundraising and donor stewardship.
  • Adaptability and capacity to work in a fast-paced environment. 
  • A deep commitment to the mission of Feeding America.
  • Website content management experience a plus. Salesforce experience a plus.
  • Non-profit experience a plus.
