Easterseals is seeking an energetic and creative individual to fill a full time, year round position with benefits to develop and manage adapted recreation programs for individuals with disabilities at Easterseals Camp Fairlee located in Chestertown, MD.
Areas of Responsibility:
- Experience with residential camp, outdoor recreation programs, travel programs, and respite programs preferred.
- Responsibilities include direct program management, budget management, staff/volunteer supervision, compliance with ACA standards, oversight of weekend respite programs and vacation planning for individuals with disabilities.
- Onsite housing may be provided.
Educational Background:
Ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, recreation, nursing or education
Skills/Experience:
- Three years of experience working with individuals with disabilities; could substitute experience working at summer camp, volunteering or caring for family member with a disability.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license and a good driving record required.
