The Director of Donor Operations will manage the daily operations of the Donor Services and Pledge Processing and supports the organizations vision, mission, and strategy objectives. This position is primarily responsible for managing all areas of accounts receivables and pledge processing.

Areas of Responsibility: 

Accounts Receivable

  • Manage the Accounts Receivable Operations of United Way, which includes recording, collecting and analyzing the receivables data.
  • Supervise the Donor Services Manager and the Pledge Processing Manager.
  • Collaborate with the team to handle all internal and external inquiries related to Donor Services and Pledge Processing.
  • Provide extensive training to all staff, employees and volunteers on all aspects of Donor Services and Pledge Processing as needed.
  • Responsible for written procedures for all areas of Donor Services and Pledge Processing.
  • Responsible for coordinating most aspects of Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS).
  • Coordinate and provide analysis for the Annual Fiscal Audit.

Backup Other Finance Functions  

  • Serve as the primary backup for the Pledge Processing Manager and Donor Services Manager and help all areas of Finance as requested
Educational Background: 
B.A. in Business Administration or at least 3 years’ experience in a related field required
Skills/Experience: 
  • A minimum of three years of supervisory experience required
  • A minimum of one year of large volume transaction processing required
  • Work requires strong analytical, math, process management, interpersonal, written and verbal communications and customer service skills.
  • Attention to detail, high degree of accuracy, self-motivated, flexible, dependable and ability to work independently required.
  • Ability to work positively in a team environment required. 
  • Strong computer skills, expertise in Excel and prior database experience required.
  • Accounting background a plus.
  • Experience with ANDAR a plus.

  • Indoor office environment;
  • Occasional use of personal vehicle;
  • Light lifting of supplies;
  • Occasional non-regular hours.
