United Way of East Central Iowa (UWECI) is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join the Community Building team. The Manager, Community Planning & Research will lead and direct data collection and analysis for UWECI and community stakeholders. This individual will assist UWECI and its partners in understanding and utilizing data to help create solutions to complex human problems. This position will conduct research and analysis and provide data to affect decision making in the areas of Education, Financial Stability, and Health; co-create grant applications and reporting related to UWECI’s work; prepare reports and communications for a variety of audiences; and provide expertise and assistance with needs assessments and data collection and reporting tools.
- This role requires effective analysis and synthesis, reporting, and communication skills; background in social sciences, social work, analytics, planning, public administration, or related field; and experience with facilitation, relationship building, and network building.
