United Way of East Central Iowa (UWECI) is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented individual to develop and edit marketing and communications content for our dynamic and mission-focused organization.
This position is responsible for the writing and editing of UWECI’s communications and requires experience in telling impactful stories. The ideal candidate possesses a strong understanding and ability to develop targeted, multi-channel messages to increase stakeholder engagement and break down complex subject matter to create concise content for a variety of audiences and channels. To support marketing and organizational efforts, a strong knowledge of lead generation and project management is a plus.
This role requires exceptional written and verbal communication skills; demonstrated success in translating complex strategies and concepts into clear, relatable messages; and the ability to work collaboratively inside and outside the organization to ensure high quality content.
