United Way of East Central Iowa (UWECI) is seeking a dynamic and energetic individual to lead the Education team. This management position is responsible for the development of innovative strategies to support positive youth development from birth to work, engaging key stakeholders, providing leadership to volunteers and community partners, conducting oversight of funding processes, and supervision of programs and staff. The Senior Manager, Education must demonstrate knowledge of community resources and the factors that contribute to healthy and successful youth development.
This role requires effective decision-making, project management, and communication skills; background in education or social work related field; and experience with strategic planning, facilitation, relationship management, and network building. Qualifications include a four-year degree from accredited college (postgraduate degree preferred) and the ability to work with diverse populations.
