United Way of Greater Stark County seeks to hire a full-time, Community Education Facilitator, to coordinate, facilitate and support, various financial and personal growth workshops, on site and throughout the community.
Areas of Responsibility:
- Coordinate community educational efforts on behalf of United Way’s Financial Prosperity Center.
- Develop and lead educational programs that meet project requirements and building community relationships with individuals, financial institutions, nonprofit organization and businesses.
- Advance and improve, skills and behavior of participants through innovative and fresh education learning experiences and practices.
- Research best practice educational concepts and stay current on the market trends and solutions available to enhance educational curriculum and activities, resulting in the end users’ opportunity to achieve positive outcomes
Educational Background:
High School Diploma
Skills/Experience:
- Must have the ability to communicate professionally and effectively in group settings, in one on one conversations and prepare and facilitate effective presentations; demonstrate the ability to advocate and be an active listener; build relationships and relate to people in an open, friendly and accepting manner, showing interest in others and their concerns; and display confidentiality to achieve elevated levels of client satisfaction
- Ability to work independently, yet function as a productive member of a team
- Licensed driver in the State of Ohio automobile insurance
- Computer literacy: Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, Google Docs, Chrome, Custom Data-base management
- Ability to manage education inventory and training materials
- Ability to manage and maintain data of integrity, for all workshops, attendance tracking and pre- and-post testing
- Ability to evaluate program effectiveness and satisfaction; implementing strategies and plans necessary to general program improvements
