Seeking part-time Registered Nurses for our Help To Recovery (HTR) program to provide skilled nursing care, as appropriate, to adults who have experienced a traumatic brain injury.  The RN assesses clients on a daily basis, and implements individual treatment plans.  Part-time shifts available for either 2 (15 hours) or 3 (22.5 hours) days a week.

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • Assist in scheduling and/or conducting meetings with staff and family members to discuss healthcare and issues related to nursing treatment plans, goals and outcomes.
  • Works with individual clients and his/her family to meet needs and goals established in the nursing care plan.
  • Provide information and instruction on health related topics and instruction in daily living skills.
  • Provides oversight and direction to employees, volunteers, and clients preparing food for noon meal to ensure appropriate sanitation and safety procedures are followed.
  • Coordinates visits with Registered Dietician on a monthly basis.
  • Administers or supervises self-administration of medications.
  • Coordinate visits with ADHC Pharmacist on a quarterly basis.
  • Provide nursing care/emergency services as necessary to all clients attending programs at Sacramento Center.
Educational Background: 
Minimum of an Associate Degree in nursing or a field related to health or rehabilitation.
Skills/Experience: 
  • Four (4) years of full-time equivalent experience in direct patient care, including documentation and responsibilities in a health, or rehabilitation agency.

License/Certifications

  • Current license as a Registered Nurse (First Aid certification comes under RN license).
  • Possession of current certificates in Adult CPR with AED and Infant/Child CPR from an approved provider.
