Senior Staff Specialist and Professor (or Associate Professor) in Cardiology at the Department of Cardiology, The Prince Charles Hospital, Chermside, Metro North Hospital and Health Service and the Faculty of Medicine, The University of Queensland, St Lucia, Brisbane, Queensland, Australia.

About the Role

  • Cardiology outpatient and inpatient care, including general cardiology, cardiology diagnostic and coronary interventional procedures.
  • After hours on-call as rostered.
  • Participate in the planning, delivery, and evaluation of educational programs in the field of Medicine for postgraduate and undergraduate students in Medicine, Nursing and other health professions, as appropriate for a University teaching hospital. This includes the provision of appropriate training for specialist registration by the professional Colleges.
  • Supervision of Registrars/Resident Medical Officers.
  • Active participation in quality activities in accordance with standard hospital practices.
