Description:
Director is responsible for management of the Foundation's daily operational needs, strategic recommendations, planning, fiscal oversight and budget management along with gift processing and database management. Supports the major gifts team (Development Directors) including prospect research, proposal and pipeline management, stewardship reporting and recognition programs. Manages the strategic planning and implementation of the financial, operating, and administrative systems infrastructure. Designs and provides reporting and analytics related to donations, constituents and restricted funds. Liaison to Information Technology, Supply Chain and Finance and in conjunction with these departments, oversees purchasing, contracting and accounting. Ensures the accuracy of expenditures and release of funds from donor-imposed restrictions. Responsible for donor record keeping, correspondence, coding of donor status within the EMR and appropriate audience extractions for solicitation, stewardship and special projects. Works with a small portfolio, not more than 40, donors and potential donors to secure and close major gifts.

Additional Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree and 5 years proven leadership experience is required.
- Masters degree with 7 years of experience is preferred.
- Must possess excellent written communication skills and an ability to interact positively and constructively with all staff levels.
- Demonstrated experience in making decisions that reflect appropriate level of analysis.
- Knowledge of Fundraising moves management, database structure, logic and terminology.
- Previous experience working in healthcare industry with physicians, healthcare fundraising is needed.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint and Excel).
- Experience with Blackbaud‘s Raiser‘s Edge is preferred.
- Supervisory experience managing several levels of staff and experience in a fundraising setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with internet, online fundraising, social media, the international marketplace is desired.
