Operations Administrator

The Operations Administrator reports directly to the Board President and works closely with Board committees to fulfill the goals of the organization as set by the Board and to ensure the smooth operation of day-to-day business.

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • Maintain day-to-day operations of the PD Active office
  • Maintain and manage Board documents and support Board decisions
  • Maintain and manage PD Active’s presence on the web and social media platforms
  • Maintain membership database and generate reports using DonorPerfect
  • Generate timely, accurate and personalized correspondence such as thank you letters to donors
  • Plan and manage logistics of an annual fundraising appeal and other mailings
  • Manage content and production of monthly newsletter and regular communications to members
  • Assist with volunteer support and event coordination
Educational Background: 
BA degree
Skills/Experience: 
  • At least 2 years of relevant work experience
  • Computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • Ability to use social media platforms to manage PD Active presence on the web
  • Proficient with CRM software preferably DonorPerfect
  • Research and writing skills
  • Verbal, analytical, and organizational skills
  • Experience with WordPress and Constant Contact
  • Capacity to work from home (currently, the position operates in a virtual office environment); when safe to do so, we will transition to working in-person or a hybrid model
  • Development experience strongly preferred, but not required
  • Flexible, patient, and adept at multitasking
  • Energetic self-starter with meticulous attention to detail
Compensation/Benefits: 

Salary: $50,000 - $60,000 annualized (depending on experience)

Benefits: Medical, vacation time, sick time

Additional Information: 

The Operations Administrator works collaboratively with other staff, must live in the Bay Area, and is often the frontline representative on the phone and email for the organization.
