The American Heart Association has an excellent opportunity for a temporary/part-time Youth Market Associate in our Mid Atlantic Affiliate. This position can be located in Western MD or Northern VA.
This position will partner with our current School Fundraising professionals to promote our Jump Rope for Heart and Hoops for Heart Community Service Events during the school year. This position requires working on websites, communication plans with schools and special projects as assigned. This position would also provide support to AHA staff, etc.
Skills/Experience:
- Ability to work 25 hours per week with current AHA/ASA Youth Market staff
- Ability to form relationships and establish rapport with audiences of all levels.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and activities.
- Ability to be successful and bring a strong work ethic and passion to the work of the organization
- Ability to be flexible and adapt to change
- Working knowledge of all Microsoft Applications
- Ability to operate a vehicle and work with youth (driver’s license and criminal background check will be conducted)
