The Email Marketing Coordinator is responsible for the execution of email campaigns that support fundraising efforts and promote ACS programs and partnerships. This individual will work with business owners nationwide and take approved Email strategies, and work with Email vendors to execute campaigns, communicate schedules, and provide reports to business owners and strategic vendors. This position is responsible in assisting in the growth, cultivation and development of ACS email subscribers and donors to meet and exceed revenue targets.

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • Coordinate all day-to-day email production with internal clients, staff and vendor partners to ensure the on-time and error-free creation and development of ACS email communications; collect and deliver assets, follow up with vendors, ensure campaigns are on schedule, follow testing procedures, etc. Review ACS Division and department email requests, and provide recommendations on content and creative.
  • Route all creative and content internally for feedback and internal approvals.
  • Build and test email campaigns in email service provider tool, perform quality review, manage responses, and monitor metrics 
  • Ability to create and update HTML email templates.
  • Stay current with email best practices, technologies, CAN-SPAM laws, and industry standards.
  • Manage QA process of all centrally launched emails. Conduct email testing, maintaining high level of quality assurance, ensuring email creative, copy, and links are correct and meet brand standards.
  • Support invoice processing for vendor partners.
  • Work with internal teams to create donation pages and/or landing pages for campaigns.
  • Work with Analysts to ensure all campaign coding and tagging is correctly applied.
  • Ensure emails render properly in multiple desktop and mobile browsers.
  • Populate the master communications calendar for the business owners, train business owners as needed, identify technical issues and follow through to ensure they are resolved.
  • Identify roadblocks and recommend solutions to improve email program and experience of constituents and internal customers. Assist Sr. Manager, Email Marketing with strategy plans including: email testing, email list acquisition, and other projects as needed.

Educational Background: 
Associates, Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of experience

  • Basic understanding of campaign management and email service provider tools.
  • Working knowledge of all areas of Marketing Communications including creative, project management and budgeting.
  • Writing, editing, and proofreading skills; high attention to detail.
  • Excellent inter-personal and communication skills.
  • Ability to coordinate remotely with staff.
  • Project management experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of marketing techniques and strategies used with customers/constituents.
  • Ability to work with varying levels of internal constituents and develop communication for various internal levels.
  • Ability to manage multiple ad hoc and long-term projects simultaneously.
  • 2 + years marketing experience with project management focus or relative experience.
  • Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word and other project management and presentation applications.
  • Experience with multiple Email marketing platforms (full service and self-service)
