Title:  Manager of Corporate Fundraising Partnerships and Events

 

Salary Range: $60,000-75,000 depending on experience

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

 

  • Manages all corporate fundraising partnership and sponsorship activities. This includes solicitation, acknowledgement, education and ongoing cultivation of existing corporate donors and sponsors.
  • Brainstorms, researches and screens new funding opportunities with the SVP, Development and the VP, Corporate and Foundation Relations
  • Develops online and print outreach materials that will define partnership benefits and report on partner and sponsor impact.
  • Oversees and maintains the AICR Corporate Partnership webpage and any specific partnership landing pages ensuring that the content is current, and reviews and maintains all other appropriate web material related to corporate partnerships.
  • Leads all internal partnership meetings.
  • Performs continuous research and outreach to potential, current and lapsed corporate partners and customizes outreach strategies.  Stays abreast of industry trends
  • Helps plan and coordinate special and corporate events with corporate partners.  Finds sponsors and partners for these events that will generate revenue and promote our brand.
  • Manages the logistics of the AICR Marathon program and communicates with runners and marathon companies.
  • Oversees the setup of peer to peer fundraising pages for individuals raising money online.
  • Plans the logistics of any new or additional AICR events.
  • Collaborates with research, education and communication staff to ensure that all proposals include accurate and thorough case descriptions for each marketable AICR program.
  • Works cross functionally to develop and deliver partnership presentations and sales pitches
  • Partners with the Vice President, Corporate and Foundation Partnerships to research, develop and submit funding proposals.
  • Keeps databases updated with corporate interactions and giving.
  • Participates and assists with staffing AICR exhibits at external seminars and conferences.
  • Serves on internal committees as requested.

 

Required Experience and Skills:

 

  • Bachelors degree in a relevant field
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in corporate fundraising or marketing
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong verbal, writing and editing skills with the ability to translate our unique and complicated mission into compelling cases for support
  • Working knowledge of digital marketing and best practices
  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task efficiently and respond to a high volume or ongoing requests in a timely fashion
  • Team player, with ability to work with all levels and departments within the organization
  • Ability to achieve results with minimal supervision
  • Outstanding organizational skills
  • Flexible schedule for occasional weekend or evening events or deadlines
