- Assess current needs of economically disadvantaged individuals in the areas of employment and financial capability.
- Determine where opportunities exist to engage volunteers to address these needs.
- Research volunteer best practices around financial capability and employment.
- Develop plan to leverage volunteers to expand the scale and effectiveness of services provided by THRIVE Network partners to increase employment skills, financial capability, free tax preparation, and access to income supports.
- Create guidelines for THRIVE Network partners on recruitment, management and retention of volunteers to ensure the integrity of services provided.
- Identify revenue streams to generate additional funding and in-kind support to further the goals of the project.
Skills/Experience:
- Ability to work with diverse staff and groups of volunteers.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to balance and prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills and a clear, 'on-target' writing style.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain positive and engaging relationships.
- Proficient with Google and MS Office.
- Proactive and strategic thinker with the ability to work both individually and collaboratively.
- Creative and result-oriented self-starter, willing to learn.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
