Vice President, Account Management, Configuration & Implementation Services

Implementation Services will oversee a team of account managers and product innovators partnering with corporate partners and local United Ways to provide product support, drive corporate responsibility and create innovative fundraising and engagement solutions. This position is a senior member of the Sales Force Philanthropy Cloud (SFPC) team at United Way Worldwide providing post-sale software implementation and integration services for a global client base to drive solutions to complex business problems.

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • Leads the daily activities responsible to the Account Management (AM) department, including configuration, migration, setup and training and leads the day-to-day business operations with each client including supporting AMs to provide fundraising guidance, growth strategies, and product support
  • Build strong and effective working relationships with local United Way partners, customers, software vendors, technical vendors and the internal team to drive collaboration and achieve deliverables.
  • Become a system expert in Philanthropy Cloud, including current functionality and long-term roadmap
  • Work with cross-departmental teams at UWW to execute on strategic engagement plans for GCL and national United Way partners
  • Educate and teach best practices to clients; ensuring the client has proper analytics, reports and information showing how the SPC platform is meeting their CSR and engagement needs, goal and objectives. Bringing forth recommendations for improvement in collaboration with the client.
  • Responsible for managing the roadmap and go-to-market strategy for integration capabilities.
  • Oversee training for new LUWs on Philanthropy Cloud, using existing Salesforce documentation. Build, train and manage a team to support product implementation needs.
  • Develop webinar series for local United Ways and clients to share best practices, innovative solutions and case studies of successful CSR programs.
  • Responsible for creating a comprehensive implementation project plan that can scale and be agile for changing business needs.
  • Accountable for deliverables, timeline, and budget for projects related to implementation, account configuration, management and enhancements.
  • Develop comprehensive project plan for SFPC implementations inclusive of post-sale transition, client consultation, integration planning and execution, resource planning/coordination, system configuration, user acceptance, cut-over, training and support.
  • Oversee the design, build and maintenance of API hooks and middleware for systems integration with major existing tools used by local United Ways.
  • Pursue integration standards and universal data mapping among customers, reducing operational costs.
  • Proactively pursue high customer engagement and satisfaction throughout the implementation, providing transparent expectations throughout the process.
  • Create and improve configuration/implementation processes and procedures
  • Identify and manage issues and risk throughout the project
  • Provide guidance to address critical and/or outstanding issues impacting the implementation.
  • Drive change supporting a transformational journey across the UW Networks
  • Provides on-going consultation to leverage capabilities of SFPC to drive increased usage.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Educational Background: 
Minimum requirements include a Bachelor’s degree
Skills/Experience: 

At least 10 years of expert-level experience in a similar role. Additionally, this position requires a minimum of five years of previous people management experience, and five to ten years of experience in a leadership role.

  • Solutions-oriented leader with a high level of agility.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, build relationships and trust among customers, vendors and partners.
  • Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced ever-changing environment.
  • Must be an experienced devoted manager and strong leader.
  • 10+ years of relevant work experience working in digital solutions and/or like-field.
