We’re looking for an experienced Business Analyst to advance our business goals by interfacing with vendors and internal stakeholders to translate business objectives into functional requirements, manage business process improvements, and advocate for the voice of the user in our systems work.
The successful candidate is customer-focused, fluent with technology systems including Salesforce CRM and Office 365, and able to translate complicated concepts and technologies into natural language for diverse stakeholders. You will formulate and define systems scope and objectives through research, fact-finding, and analysis of business and user needs combined with an understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirements.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL DUTIES OF POSITION: An individual must be able to perform each essential duty listed below at a satisfactory level:
- Cultivate productive relationships with our partners in order to understand and translate their business requirements into functional and systems requirements supported by data model diagrams and tied to specific customer personas.
- Deliver elements of systems design, including detailed requirements, data migration rules, business rules, wireframes, or other detailed deliverables.
- Report on common sources of technical issues or questions and make recommendations to product team
- Facilitate the negotiation of requirements amongst multiple stakeholders through design sessions, wireframes, and thorough documentation.
- Document current- and future-state business processes.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics or related field with 3+ years of experience in Business / Systems Analysis or Quality Assurance in a software development environment
- Proven experience in eliciting and managing requirements
- Experience in analyzing data to draw business-relevant conclusions and in data visualization techniques and tools
- Strong written and verbal communication skills including technical writing skills
- Excellent communicator and creative thinker, with an ability to use both data and intuition to inform decisions.
- Understanding the needs of multiple stakeholders.
- Helping business stakeholders envision the future and how their work will need to change to support the future.
