To provide support to the entire CCE team with all Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database (currently Andar) needs, ensuring these departments are effectively focused on increased revenue generation and volunteer engagement efforts.  This technical position is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the staff planning, organizing and production of online giving campaigns using our internal system (currently ePledge) and upkeep of CRM data.  Additional responsibilities include prospect research for individuals and companies, and management through the CRM database.  

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • ePledge Setup: Oversee the continued development of the online giving initiative and the correct deployment of its resources for the facilitation of company campaigns.  This includes site creation and updates of all ePledge sites, implementing checklists received from CCE team and verifying accuracy to fulfill company requests.  Support of electronic giving campaigns including configuring and supporting electronic donor pledging systems for local and national workplace campaigns and the importing of donor files as needed from CCE team. Implement updates to messaging and layout, coordinate launch dates and timelines for additional solicitation to donors or potential donors, offer support to donors as questions arise regarding the pledge site.  Train new employees on the process of setting up online campaigns.  Provide reporting and technical expertise and suggestions of updates as necessary and identified for the development and maintenance of organizational processes (30%)
  • Prospect Research: Work with leadership of the CCE team to create a strategic and well-organized process to identify, assign, facilitate and track prospect companies and individuals.  Upload and maintain this information in the CRM database.  Monitor and direct CCE staff member’s progress around prospect cultivation and stewardship.  Provide analysis and interpretation of prospect donor and corporate partner information (through use of tools such as iWave Information Systems).  Develop and provide new analytical reports as needs are identified and to ensure effectiveness of the team. (30%)
  • Database Maintenance: Manages campaign side of Andar, including but not limited to: updating account information; creating new accounts; facing and process envelopes; pulling donor lists; and troubleshooting problems as they arise within the CCE team. Train new CCE team members on the daily use of CRM database in their positions. Act as liaison to Finance Department regarding CRM database. Crosstrain with Specialist, Finance Database for adequate coverage. (30%)
  • Other CRM Functions: Provide data needed for monthly All Subscribers Newsletter, Invite lists out for all events, providing targeted donor lists for segmented communications as identified by marketing, engagement and/or senior staff. (10%)
Educational Background: 
High School Diploma or equivalent. Bachelor’s degree in IT related field preferred.
Skills/Experience: 
  • 2+ years’ experience in HTML 4 & 5 coding, or relative IT experience required.
  • Competent in MS Office products.
  • Interest in the improvement of the Summit County community.

PHYSICAL/OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

  • Position is primarily a normal office setting, requiring long periods of sedentary work at a desk and computer.
  • Ability to routinely travel throughout multi-floor office, walking, climbing stairs.
  • Must be able to sit, stand, reach with hands and arms, bend and stoop.
  • Extensive reading.
  • Minimal lifting up to 25 pounds occasionally.
  • Must be willing to work non-standard work schedule including nights, weekends, and other unusual hours on occasion.
  • After-hours event attendance occasionally.
