Basic Responsibilities: • Completes comprehensive substance abuse and mental health assessments using the GAIN tool. • Collaborates with court counselors regularly regarding status of referrals. • Refers and links to best practice treatment services administered by JJSAMHP Providers, family individual choice of provider, and/or JCPC programs. • Serves as a liaison between court counselors and provider agencies to ensure youth are connected to services. • Completes data collection and reporting for JJSAMHP group. • Attends Child and Family Team meetings and Care Reviews as needed and when relevant to assessment and linkage to treatment. • Maintains communication with Community Partners including JJSAMHP Group, Alliance staff, and JCPC programs. • Attends JJSAMHP monthly meetings and serves on the DJJ Hard to Serve committee. Qualifications: • Masters Level Licensed Clinician – LCSW; LPC; LMFT • Minimum of two (2) years’ experience with adolescent substance abuse treatment is required, preferably with youth who are involved with the juvenile justice system. • Must demonstrate strong clinical counseling, assessment, and administrative skills; skills to develop and maintain relationships with public agencies and community resources; and high professional ethics and standards. • Experience working on a multidisciplinary team strongly preferred • Training in Evidence Based Practices for working with Juveniles preferred (ex. 7 challenges/brief challenges)Job Function:
