Save the Children serves vulnerable children around the globe, including the United States where nearly 15 million children are living in poverty. Our U.S. Programs & Advocacy (USPA) division partners with low-income, rural communities across the nation to ensure that underserved children are prepared for school by the time they begin kindergarten and are achieving grade level proficiency in math and reading by the end of third grade. USPA has a Resource Development team (USPA RD) that is dedicated to raising private and public funds for Save the Children’s early childhood education, school-age, and protection programs in the U.S.

This includes researching and identifying potential funding opportunities, writing reports and proposals, and providing administrative support on day-to-day operational functions, special projects and the completion of governmental grant applications.
