Early Intervention Specialist

Provide an enriching center based learning environment, plan prepare and implement lesson plans that align with ODE Early learning Development Standards. Communicate with parents to discuss goals and objectives for each child. Schedule Early Intervention coaching home visits. Facilitate “transition” meetings from Early Intervention program into a preschool program.

SKILLS:

·         Excellent inter-Personal skills

  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Strong time management skills
  • Excellent organizational skills 
  • Preferably some Behavior Management skills/training
  • Preferably some familiarity with the Individualized Family Service Plan

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science/Bachelor of Arts in Child Development or Special Education or College Degree in related field. 
  • 3 - 5 years teaching experience in an Early Intervention or Preschool setting preferred.
  • Eligible for appropriate certifications
