The Fundraising Engagement Specialist (CRS) works under the direction of the Senior Director of Corporate Engagement (SDCE), with responsibility to manage the implementation and usages of all UWSL pledging tools and platforms including: Salesforce Philanthropy Cloud (SPC), Mobile Cause, Donately, Stripe and others. The CRS also manages pledge processing and reporting in collaboration with the Finance team for both corporate partners and individual donors. In addition, the CRS manages a portfolio of campaigns and accounts that require digital communications and follow through. The CRS is the project manager for sponsorship requests, thank you letters, and other correspondence, and also supports the entire Development team with other key projects.
- Lead strategies that provide a personal and memorable digital fundraising experience
- Work with Corporate Engagement Advisors to determine company pledging preferences, content, and reporting needs; help determine best platform for each partner
- Onboard corporate partners by providing training and support on digital tools
- Develop and manage all internal UWSL processes for onboarding corporate partners and maintaining support during campaigns
- Support corporate partners year-round through successful digital campaigns and communications, calls to action, and volunteer opportunities
- Implement and manage direct-to-donor company campaigns and work with the SDCE and other Corporate Engagement team members to integrate direct-to-donor strategies into annual individual giving campaigns
- Collect data on campaigns, evaluate results, and proactively propose creative recommendations
- Manage the identification, cultivation, and stewardship of a portfolio of new and existing corporate partners and individual donors
- Set measurable goals related to relationship management and revenue forecasts
- Consistently track substantial correspondence and progress of corporate and individual relationships through Salesforce
- Build communications strategy and implement communication cadences based on engagement and goals
- Search for, acquire, and prepare all necessary documentation for financial processing of corporate and individual pledges
- With guidance from SDCE, organize and execute annual sponsorship solicitations to build a robust budget supporting a wide range of events
- Build all sponsorship forecasts and opportunities in Salesforce and assist in pushing opportunities through pipeline
- Create compelling and professional sponsorship and corporate gift proposals, agreements for solicitation purposes
- Prepare written correspondence, including corporate donation and sponsorship requests, solicitation, and thank-you letters for sponsorships, and corporate gifts, and individual donor gifts. Pull mailing lists, complete merges and send mailings.
- Perform donor cultivation and stewardship communications - ensure timely impact reports, personal thank yous, monthly or quarterly reporting back and ongoing communications
- Schedule meetings, prepare materials, and follow up on calls to action for the Corporate Engagement Council—a group of board members and other volunteers that support CE efforts

Salary: $31,000 to $40,000 per year
