Easterseals of Southeastern Pennsylvania's Delaware County Division seeks a Teacher Assistant/Group Supervisor for the Friendship Academy, a reverse mainstream program, in Broomall, PA.
Areas of Responsibility:
- This position is a dual role. Essential Teacher Assistant duties include supporting the classroom Teacher in implementing curriculum and supporting IEP outcomes.
- As a Group Supervisor, the responsibilities include programming and implementation of curriculum. Assisting children with self-help skills, including dressing, feeding, toileting and daily care are also involved. Strong communication skills, high energy, and desire to have fun with children in a team setting a must!
Educational Background:
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Elementary Education or Human Services
OR an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in an alternative major with 30 credit hours in Early Childhood Education/Child Development/ Elementary Education/Human Services plus experience working with children
