The mission of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation is to cure cystic fibrosis and to provide all people with the disease the opportunity to lead full, productive lives by funding research and drug development, promoting individualized treatment and ensuring access to high-quality, specialized care.

The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation has 70 chapters and branch offices across the country that work diligently to raise funds to help support the search for a cure. The high quality of specialized care available throughout the care center network has led to the improved length and quality of life for people with CF. Founded in 1968, BGCMC has two modern clubhouses; a 26,000 sq.ft. facility in Seaside and a 46,000 sq.ft. building in Salinas. It has served 30,000 youth who have made over 2,200,000 visits to the clubhouses in Seaside and Salinas, California. We have provided over 2,000,000 healthy meals and awarded nearly $600,000 in college scholarships. In the five years we project to serve another 3500 youth, expand programs for teens through a new College and Career Readiness in new and expanded teens centers.
