Events and Programs Coordinator
Location: Hybrid, with regular in-person event support

The American Swiss Foundation is the leading private organization dedicated to strengthening the historic friendship between the United States and Switzerland. We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Events and Programs Coordinator.
In this role, you will be managed by and work closely with Executive Director. You will provide support for in-person and virtual programming of the ASF. Your work will directly engage the 1,500 alumni of the Foundation and the broader ASF community, ensuring seamless program execution.
Responsibilities
The Events and Programs Coordinator will attend all ASF events and programs in America and Switzerland, including but not limited to:
- Young Leaders Conference (Switzerland)
- Annual Gala Dinner (New York City)
- Leadership Summit (Switzerland)
- Stratton Prize Dinner (Boston)
- New York Stock Exchange Dinner (New York City)
- Building Bridges (Washington, D.C.)
- Miscellaneous Programs (Boston, Washington, D.C., New York City)
- Committee Support (Stratton Prize, Alumni, and Programs Committees)
Events and Program Support
- Coordinate post-event reporting and analytics, including attendance data and feedback summaries
- Draft and send invitations to programs using Constant Contact and Classy
- Maintain the ASF’s member, alumni, and donor database in Blackbaud
- Draft and edit printed programs for all ASF events using Canva software
- Draft table designs for seated dinner events in partnership with Executive Director
- Maintain a shared calendar of ASF events and deadlines to ensure team coordination
- Provide on-site event support
- Organize and lead virtual program series in partnership with the Executive Director
ASF Committee Support
- Attend all committee meetings for the Stratton Prize and Programs Committees
- Partner with committee co-chairs including debrief and preparation for meetings
- Draft and circulate all meeting minutes
- Record and carry out all actions / do outs from meetings
- Perform other tasks as requested by committee co-chairs
Salary Range: $65K-$75K Annually
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Native-level English proficiency with excellent writing and communication skills required
- Experience with Blackbaud RE NXT required
- Proficiency in Constant Contact, Classy, Canva, and Perfect Table strongly preferred
- Attention to detail, copy editing, and organizational skills strongly preferred
- Project management skills, including ability to track tasks and meet deadlines, strongly preferred
- 2-3 years of experience with external communications preferred
- Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship required
