We're hiring a Grants Writer & Coordinator at the Brook Byers Institute for Sustainable Systems at Georgia Tech! Help shape the future of sustainability research by connecting innovative faculty with funding opportunities. This job posting will close after Jan 16, 2025.

Areas of Responsibility: 

The Brook Byers Institute for Sustainable Systems (BBISS) is one of Georgia Tech's ten Interdisciplinary Research Institutes. The BBISS vision is to grow and mobilize Georgia Tech's knowledge assets and people and research – to create a sustainable future for all. This Grants Writer and Coordinator position will support BBISS role of catalyzing interdisciplinary research by helping GT faculty and researchers capture funding from external organizations.

🔑 What you'll do:
• Coordinate proposal development for federal, state & private funding
• Collaborate with world-class researchers
• Help impactful sustainability initiatives take shape

Please note: This full time job requires relocation to the Atlanta, GA metro area and is not fully remote.

Educational Background: 
Minimum: Bachelor's degree
Preferred: Master's Degree
Preferred: Project Management certification
Skills/Experience: 

✅ Minimum Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree
• 3-4 years relevant experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
• Strong organizational & communication skills
 
⭐ Preferred Qualifications:
• Master's degree in related field
• Federal/foundation grant experience
• Project management certification
• Higher ed/non-profit grant writing background
• Proven track record securing grants

Compensation/Benefits: 

Salary Range: $61,759 - $90,000
