PURPOSE OF POSITION:

The Project Manager will provide leadership and be responsible for the overall implementation of the project, including ensuring high quality, on-time, on-budget achievements of project activities. S/he will ensure that children targeted in the Project are cared for, protected, actively participating in the Protection related activities, and that the highest standards of quality, Code of Conduct and care are maintained.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide leadership to management, implementation and coordination of all project activities for a multi-subsector Protection project in Greater Equatoria and Upper Nile regions. Implementation of activities will include preparation and facilitation of key trainings in Child Protection, Gender Based Violence (GBV) Prevention & Response (non-clinical), and MRE, in collaboration with UNICEF and the Senior Protection Advisor.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • The minimum educational level required is a Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences; a Master’s degree is preferred.

Technical Training qualifications required in the following desired professional skills:

  • Project management.
