The executive director reports to the board of directors. This role includes a variety of tasks that include management and oversight of the organization including paid staff and volunteers, community relations, sourcing donations and acknowledgement of grants. Requires a commitment to fighting food insecurity.
Oversight of the organization. Assessing the needs of the community regarding food insecurity; developing and maintaining community partnerships to meet this need. The executive director is also responsible for coordinating efforts with private and government entities regarding regulations and funding opportunities.Supervision of all programs, paid staff and volunteers.
-minimum of 5 years management experience. Experience with non profits mandatory; experience with food banking preferred. Bi-lingual a plus. Grant writing a plus.
-strong organizational, communication and development skills.

-Flexible work schedule including evening meetings, fundraisers or speaking engagements and occasional weekend events.
Proficient with Microsoft Office software and working knowledge of social media platforms.
Salary range is $61,000-$68,000. Paid vacation and sick time.
