Vice President, Workplace Giving

Oversee the American Cancer Society’s diversified portfolio of Workplace Giving relationships of approximately $20-$30M annually.Develop and lead enterprise-wide strategy to deliver significant revenue growth from Workplace Giving and employee engagement initiatives, including Payroll Deduction Programs, Corporate Matching Gifts, United Way, and Combined Federal Campaign. Such strategy will include working with third-party technology platform providers such as Benevity, CyberGrants, etc., as well as uniting employee volunteerism to stimulate affinity with ACS to drive incremental giving.Work with GHQ and Regional Staff to design and execute tactical programs to drive employee engagement and revenue and with ACS Marketing and Corporate Communications to develop and execute MarCom programs in a range of channels including digital, social, and presence marketing as well to develop Corporate Recognition Programs.Lead a team of 5-10 team members focused on driving business results as well as tracking, monitoring and processing workplace donations.

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • Create and lead the employee engagement workplace giving strategy that answers to metrics of success for the ACS: Revenue generated from employee related fundraising, acquisition of new partners engagement employees and growth of existing partners engaging employees
  • Manage the master engagement plan, timeline and budget specific to these critical areas and put in place execution enterprise-wide across key stakeholders
  • Create and deliver prospect and upsell plan for the solicitation and development of new and existing corporate partners in collaboration with the Corporate Partnerships and field teams
  • Develop pipeline pathways and relationship management routines for corporate partners, and respective Relationship Managers and event staff, to participate in Employee Engagement and identify opportunities for long-term growth including multi-platform partners.
  • Lead as the point person to Workplace Giving technology providers and leverage resources for the benefit of the locals and national corporate partner stewardship.
  • Lead as the external representative to Employee Engagement stakeholders: participate in the completion of related applications, corporate kickoffs, volunteer service days and skills based volunteer projects.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure all back-end processes are set-up for all areas of Employee Engagement; and serve as the project manager for all Employee Engagement assignments.
  • Responsible for tracking and reporting national and local revenue. Share Employee Engagement trends with key internal and external stakeholders and its impact to national and local revenue.
  • Lead and engage stakeholders in best practice sharing and case study development. 
  • Work to develop and execute programs o drive incremental growth through United Way and the Combined Federal Campaign.
  • Continue to evolve employee engagement guidelines and resources for corporate partners.
Educational Background: 
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, philanthropy or related field.
Skills/Experience: 
  • BA/BS required with minimum seven years relevant work experience.
  • National experience in employee engagement and work place giving
  • Strong organizational leadership and project management skills including ability to integrate and motivate relationship managers
  • Strong reporting and relationship management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Flexible, proactive and collaborative attitude.
  • Strong relationship management skills and customer service orientation toward colleagues, chapters, volunteers and corporate partners
  • Commitment to organizational mission

SPECIALIZED TRAINING OR KNOWLEDGE:

  • 7  years of progressively responsible payroll deduction sales in corporate settings.

SPECIAL MENTAL OR PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Ability to travel is required.  Work setting is in typical office.
