Reach has an excellent opportunity for a Resource Mobilisation Managerlocated in Washington, D.C.

Areas of Responsibility: 

The Reach Resource Mobilisation Manager is responsible for the coordination, planning, development, and delivery of a fundraising strategy to mobilize resources for the delivery of Reach’s programs. The role is responsible for the analysis and management of all fundraising channels and activities, ensuring long-term and flexible resources for Reach.

  • Manage the AHA/Reach partnership to tackle RF/RHD
  • Support the delivery of the partnerships objectives by preparing and completing action plans; managing the relationship between the two partners; Ensuring projects meet deadlines
  • Support, draft and coordinate proposal development and submission
  • Provide advice on institutional donor requirements and private foundations including reporting timelines and expectations
  • Network and liaise with key donors
  • Advise leadership on potential funding opportunities and changes in donor priorities
  • Support the drafting of external reports and work with programme team to finalize these in accordance with donor requirements and timelines
  • Ensure programmatic success stories are effectively communicated through Reach communication channels
Educational Background: 
Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline
Skills/Experience: 
  • Minimum of 5 years project management and fundraising work experience in global health or international development
  • Proven ability to draft fundraising proposals from conception to submission
  • Proven ability to meet tight deadlines and work independently, be innovative and creative
  • Excellent interpersonal communications skills (written and verbal)
  • Experience liaising with senior-level management and governing boards
  • Demonstrate strong facilitation, negotiation and networking skills
