The Manager for Performance Analysis and Reporting in the PGP Department supports the agency’s acquisition and management of institutional donor awards in order to achieve its strategic mission. The position is responsible for tracking and reporting on Save the Children’s New Business Development (NBD) and Award Management (AM) metrics, providing data analysis for executive decision-making; monitoring and supporting data quality across the agency and the global movement; and supporting proposal development, knowledge management, and learning efforts. The Manager will play a key role in identifying and advancing process improvements across the NBD and AM functions, and assist in building staff capacities. The role provides broad exposure to International Programs’ global scope as well as close collaboration with functional experts and knowledge management and learning professionals.

Data Analysis and Reporting (60%)
- Track, analyze and communicate key NBD and AM metrics; build capacity among data owners to maintain accurate records and produce monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc dashboards and reports for Agency leadership.
- Prepare analyses and presentations for priority meetings and stakeholders.
- Recommend and implement viable improvements to Save the Children’s metrics, reporting procedures and tools, and reporting technologies to ensure data integrity and management utility.
- Develop effective relationships and business processes across departments, overseas offices, and seniority levels to facilitate information tracking and reporting.
Knowledge Management and Learning (20%)
- Support business teams and country offices to develop and apply sound NBD and AM knowledge management practices.
- Contribute to the improvement of agency and division-wide systems, processes, and tools within the NBD and AM functions.
- Help develop and enhance proposal Pricing tools, templates and job aids for use on large-value US Government and other institutional donor bids.
Proposal Development and Award Management 20%
- Assist with proposal development in various capacities, including but not limited to writing, reviewing, and editing proposal sections; graphics; budget support; partner relations; and final proposal production for submission to donors.
- Provide backup support to department’s Award Operations Manager, Knowledge Management and Learning team, and NBD specialists in the US and overseas to ensure effective coverage and cross-functional collaboration.
- Minimum 3-5 years' experience in area of expertise
- Professional level of specialized knowledge to manage complex tasks, programs or projects.
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Strong command of Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint, and experience producing informative charts, graphs and analyses with those tools.
- Proven ability to translate and present data points into a coherent, visual picture of organizational performance trends.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines, manage multiple tasks simultaneously and work in a fast-paced and complex environment.
- Demonstrated organizational skills, attention to detail, independent working, and self-directed initiative.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of and experience using Power BI software highly desirable.
- New Business Development and/or Award Management experience, particularly in USAID context, strongly preferred.
