YMCA Youth & Family Services is looking for an enthusiastic go getter to join our team as the Grants and Contracts Manager.The Grants and Contract manager is responsible for overseeing all initiatives in grant writing and development for the branch. The incumbentwill be working with staff to gain insight into specific program needs and gathering local statistical data and information to formulate grant proposals on behalf of the branch. In addition, the incumbent will manage and support the branch grant funding development plan in accordance and collaboration with the YMCA’s overall strategic plan.

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • Perform prospect research on similar nonprofit organizations, foundations and corporations to evaluate prospects for corporate and foundation philanthropic grants
  • Coordinates with members of the programming, finance, accounting, and marketing staffs to prepare program descriptions, budgets and other materials as required for proposals and reports
  • Provide stewardship for new and existing current grants and contracts
  • Assumes the leadership role in funding campaigns by coordinating and supervising tours, telephone inquiries, mailings, grass roots marketing and potential funding status reporting
Educational Background: 
Bachelor’s or Graduate degree
Skills/Experience: 
  • Minimum of three years experience in grant proposal writing and fundraising
  • Must be proficient with MSOffice,including Outlook,Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (Advanced Excel experience preferred)
Compensation/Benefits: 

Salary: $50,000.00 - $53,000.00
