FHI360’s focus on increasing our contributions to addressing equity in the U.S. recognizes the social and economic challenges of rising economic inequality, political polarization and the stalling, or in some cases, the reversal, of progress on issues of race, gender social mobility and inclusiveness. Through expanded engagement of funders, service providers and communities, we seek to increase the impact of our current programs on these challenges, as well as develop new programs, services and partnerships to extend our impact.
FHI360 also recognizes that cutting edge technology and the knowledge-based economy are at the heart of many cities’ and communities’ vision for unleashing a new development paradigm and prosperity, whether in the U.S. or abroad. At FHI360, we want to ensure that our evidence-based solutions fully seize the opportunities presented by new technologies. The Digital Development team serves as a technical hub offering design, program implementation and staff ICT capacity-building support for the full range of FHI360 technical portfolios, ensuring that programs benefit from information and communication technology innovations to deliver greater value-for-money to funders and the communities and organizations we assist.
